Fla. Immigrant Tuition Ruling Won’t Be Appealed
Florida’s public colleges and universities must stop charging higher tuition to the dependent children of illegal immigrants living in the state following a State Board of Education decision Tuesday not to appeal a federal court decision.
Gov. Scott Names Higher Education Task Force
Following his veto of a bill allowing the University of Florida and Florida State University to raise tuition beyond a state-imposed cap, Gov. Rick Scott on Friday announced the formation of a task force to take a look at higher education reform.
