The New York Mets wrapped their sweep of the Miami Marlins on Sunday with a win of 3-2. Ruben Tejada singled home the winning run with two outs in the ninth inning to give the Mets the victory over Miami, their seventh straight against the team.
Lucas Duda popped the ball up in the first inning, then jogged up the first-base line. When the ball dropped behind third baseman Gil Velazquez into short left field, he wound up with only a single. An inning later, Mets manager Terry Collins pulled Duda from the game.
