Sugar Reduced In Milk Served In Schools

In an effort to have healthier choices available in school lunches, suppliers of chocolate and strawberry flavored milk to most of the state’s schools have reduced the amount of sugar they use in the drinks.

School Lunches Getting Healthier

Your child’s lunch at school is about get healthier. First Lady Michelle Obama has announced a major nutritional overhaul of school lunch meals, promoting a wider selection of fruits and vegetables, foods with less sodium and foods with more whole grains.
