A woman who fell victim to a “sweetheart swindler” is waiting to hear if she will be able to keep a roof over head.
A South Florida man, dubbed the “Sweetheart Swindler,” was sentenced Thursday morning to ten years in prison for swindling two women out of more than $370,000 with promises of marriage and a prosperous life together.
A Broward County jury found the so-called “Sweetheart Swindler” guilty of wooing two women, only to steal their money.
On a day most women want flowers, two women went to court hoping for justice.
