Deluging rain from Tropical Storm Debby has forced the closure of the main interstate highway across northern Florida.
The FBI named David Edwin Bradley, 23, of Miami Gardens, Florida as the man who carjacked two cars, robbed a Broward barber shop, and then shot two law enforcement officers on the Florida Turnpike Thursday evening.
Customers inside a Pembroke Pines barber shop were terrified when a man burst in Thursday and robbed the place at gunpoint. Little did they know he’d end up shooting two South Florida law enforcement officers in the middle of the Florida Turnpike before turning the gun on himself.
Two law enforcement officers were shot at the height of rush hour Thursday afternoon, and a suspect lay dead on the pavement, after what started as a carjacking in Miami-Dade County ended on the Turnpike in Hollywood in a blaze of gunfire. Police said the wounds sustained by both officers are not life threatening.
