It may not look like much but Miami-Dade’s Property Appraiser’s office is in the midst of massive makeover. Under a catch phrase of “How may I help you” sign when you walk in, homeowners are actually leaving with smiles on their faces.
Miami-Dade homeowners who think their property taxes may be too high, or are in need of a property value adjustment, are urged to attend a town hall style meeting Tuesday night hosted by county Property Appraiser Carlos Lopez-Cantera.
Reversing three straight years of declines, Miami-Dade County saw a modest increase in taxable property values for 2012.
