Dade Voters Keep Pit Bull Ban

Miami-Dade County will retain a ban on owning pit bulls. With all 829 precincts reporting, 63 percent of voters said the pit bull ban should remain in place compared to just 37 percent who said it should be repealed.

Plantation Man Aims For Pit Bulls, Shoots Mom

There’s a fair amount of difference between an 84-year old woman and a pack of pit bulls, but police say when the dogs started fighting and turned on the woman, her son used a gun to get control of the situation and shot his mom instead of the dogs.
