The deadline to sign up for health insurance to meet the requirements of the Affordable Care Act have come and gone.
U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Kathleen Sebelius visited South Florida on Saturday to help kick off an event meant to help those wanting to sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.
The deadline for Americans to sign up on healthcare.gov was extended Monday. The website’s botched roll out caused a backlog and ultimately forced the Obama administration to move back the signup dates. At Mall of the Americas people were signing up for coverage Monday.
