Christmas came early Wednesday morning for thousands of people who received free bags of holiday cheer from the Latin American Chamber of Commerce.
Some people were in line for hours or even days, but no matter how long they waited, as long as they had a voucher, they received bags of holiday cheer Wednesday from the Latin American Chamber of Commerce.
The line has already started to form outside the Latin American Chamber of Commerce for its annual holiday food basket giveaway in Little Havana.
Despite giving away 3,000 food baskets worth up to $200, several hundred people were still turned away Wednesday from a free food voucher giveaway from the Latin American Chamber of Commerce.
Just north of Flager Street in Little Havana you’ll see them. Dozens of people sitting in lawn chairs wrapping around 14th avenue. They’ve been here since November 28th.
