The NCAA issued its final report and sanctions against the University of Miami Tuesday morning and the 102-page document outlined a plethora of specific violations against the school.
One of the lead investigators on the NCAA’s case against the University of Miami told a federal judge that the collegiate governing body may use “Mr. (Nevin) Shapiro in the future as a consultant.”
The attorney at the center of the Nevin Shapiro case said she has done nothing wrong and not the cause of the NCAA’s problems, but the victim.
The NCAA has launched an external review of the organization’s enforcement program due to improper conduct that happened during its investigation of the University of Miami and convicted Ponzi schemer Nevin Shapiro.
Lost amidst the dearth of allegations by Nevin Shapiro was that he put bounties out on opposing teams’ players. But, one of those players is now laughing off the reported bounty.
