Its cause is unknown. As part of Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month, we’re taking a closer look at the disease, which affects more than 2 million people worldwide. Locally, the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation has launched its “Orange Campaign”. We reveal how taking a selfie can benefit thousands of people.

Millions of people suffer from m-s and there is no known cure for the autoimmune disease. The organization “MS Views and News” is dedicated to provide education, advocacy and service to enhance the quality of life within the MS. We focus on the work the group does and its upcoming symposium.

Annette Funicello, Mouseketeer & Film Star Dies

Annette Funicello, who became a child star as a perky, cute-as-a-button Mouseketeer on “The Mickey Mouse Club” in the 1950s, then teamed up with Frankie Avalon in a string of ’60s fun-in-the-sun movies with titles like “Beach Blanket Bingo” and “Bikini Beach,” died Monday. She was 70.
