Panthers Drop Heartbreaker In Shootout To Sabres

The Buffalo Sabres are hoping a two-game winning streak is a sign of better things to come. Nathan Gerbe scored his first two goals of the season, Ryan Miller made 38 saves and the Sabres beat the struggling Florida Panthers 4-3 in a shootout Thursday night.

Panthers Knock Out Flyers In Shootout, 3-2

Blown out at home last month by the Flyers, the Florida Panthers would not be embarrassed twice. Jonathon Huberdeau and Peter Mueller both scored goals in a shootout to lead the Panthers to a 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night.
