Florida A&M University officials announced Thursday morning that Sept. 1st will be the day the school’s famed Marching 100 band will return to the field in Orlando.

New sweeping anti-hazing recommendations drawn up by Florida A&M University President James Ammons will be discussed Tuesday by schools board of trustees at an all day retreat.
Florida A&M University’s Marching 100 band has been suspended until 2013. During a meeting Monday morning between the school’s President James Ammons and the board of trustees, Ammons said he will keep the band off the field for the upcoming school year.
