Fla. Woman Accused In Schools Threat In Court

A woman charged with making threats that caused 300 South Florida schools to be locked down and a congressman-elect’s top aide to step down appeared in federal court in Fort Lauderdale Tuesday.

Lockdown Lifted For Broward Schools

The lockdown for all Broward County public and charter schools has been lifted as of 1:45 p.m. Students will be dismissed at their normal times Wednesday afternoon and parents can pick the students up at that time. However, after school activities for the day are canceled, but after school care will run normally



“Person Of Interest” Found In Lockdown Threat

Pembroke Pines Police say a “person of interest” has been identified after two threats forced the lockdown of all Broward County public and charter schools for most of the school day on Wednesday.
