Giant Gator To Appear In Art Basel Weekend

The largest gator to have ever appeared in South Florida has made its way back to common waters, just in time for Art Basel.

Gator Art To Cruise Ft. Lauderdale’s New River

Delayed by a day, a 40-ton gator head mounted on a self propelled barge is expected to cruise downtown Fort Lauderdale on the New River and into the Intracoastal Waterway on Monday.

Launch Of Large Gator Head Pushed Back

A 40-ton gator head that was expected to float through downtown Fort Lauderdale on the New River and down the Intracoastal Waterway was delayed Sunday, but its creators hope their art piece makes a big bite in the upcoming week of Art Basal.

Giant “Gator” To Float In Bay For Art Basel

Drivers on Alligator Alley got an eyeful Sunday, when they passed a 76 food alligator head rolling down the road.
