Law Enforcement Leaders Call On Parents For Help To Stop Violence

Two days after the shooting of a teenage girl who was simply sitting on a park bench, top brass from police departments around South Florida and anti-violence activists joined forces in Liberty City Friday, calling on parents to step up and stop the violence.

Burglary at Special Needs School Forces Temporary Closure

Employees at a special needs school in Liberty City returned to work Tuesday, January 21st to find their school had been burglarized. Computers were stolen and one of the schools two vans was missing from the parking lot.
