Haiti’s President Touts Progress To Lure Investors

Hoping to reel in potential investors, Haitian President told a gathering in North Miami Beach Monday evening that his country is building homes, creating jobs and putting kids in school three years after a catastrophic earthquake.

Haitian Pres. In S. Florida For Surgery

Haitian President Michel Martelly has undergone arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder in Miami and will spend the next few days in South Florida recovering.

Haitian Prime Minister Resigns

Political chaos reigned in Haiti Friday and into Saturday after Prime Minister Garry Conille resigned from office shortly before he was to meet with the country’s president and ministers at the national palace, according to CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald.
