A wind fueled brush fire in Southern Miami-Dade has burned approximately 45 acres. The fire broke out Sunday afternoon in the area of SW 147th Avenue and SW 200th Street.
Florida Power and Light workers are monitoring efforts to put out a stubborn grass fire in SW Miami-Dade which is threatening homes and their utility poles.
Miami-Dade firefighters were working to contain a small brush fire which is burning in the area of new homes under construction. There appears to be no immediate danger to people.
