Florida Marlins Stadium
It’s official: Miami has a new baseball team with a new home, but there are a lot of familiar faces. Say goodbye to the Florida Marlins, and say hello to the Miami Marlins.
It’s no secret that big changes are on the way for the Florida Marlins come April, and now the team has changed the names of the streets surrounding their new ballpark, and that’s not all.
The Florida Marlins have changed their colors, their team logo and they are going green. The new stadium is standing out for its environmental efforts.
Drivers on I-95 and State Road 836 will soon have relief from the distracting glare caused by the top of the new Marlins Stadium.
There are just seven games left for the Florida Marlins and their home at Sun Life Stadium. Once the final out is made on September 28th, the Florida Marlins will be no more.
Next year at this time you’ll be able to cheer on the Miami Marlins with a cold brew and a hot dog at their new home in Little Havana.
