Dunk City. The last time that nickname was used, Florida Gulf Coast University was making an improbable run in the NCAA Tournament in March. A lot has changed for the FGCU Eagles since then, but they head into the next season hoping to show they aren’t a flash in the pan.
He built Dunk City and a reputation for playing above the rim with reckless abandon. Now, Florida Gulf Coast head coach Andy Enfield is heading west to become the new head coach at the University of Southern California.

In the span of just a few months, Florida has gone from football central to the center of the basketball world with the Miami Heat on a historic 26-game winning streak and the Miami Hurricanes, Florida Gulf Coast University Eagles, and Florida Gators all making the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
