Six people killed in July’s tragic Hialeah massacre will be remembered Monday night at a memorial mass.
The City of Hialeah is planning a memorial mass service for the six victims of a gunman’s shooting rampage.
There were reportedly signs of trouble before a Hialeah man went on a deadly shooting spree more than a week ago.
“It is the department’s full belief that the only culprit in this horrible tragedy is Pedro Vargas. He kept his exact intentions and secrets to himself and he possibly took his motive to the grave with him.” That is a statement from Hialeah police spokesman Lt. Carl Zogby at a Thursday afternoon news conference regarding the Hialeah massacre that left seven people dead including the gunman.
Pedro Vargas, five hours before killing six people in Hialeah, called 9-1-1, telling the dispatcher, among other things, that he believed someone was “casting spells” on him.
Hours before Pedro Vargas went on a shooting spree last Friday, killing six of his neighbors before police took his life, he made a frantic call to 9-1-1 to report that he was being followed by someone who was casting spells on him.
