Pointing to issues such as relatively low fuel costs, Florida Power & Light and Tampa Electric Co. said Friday that customers can expect to save a little money on their monthly electric bills in 2015.
There are a number of so-called “Energy Savers” being promoted to cut our monthly bills. But as CBS4’s Chief Consumer Investigator Al Sunshine found out, a Cooper City family says their energy saver didn’t save them any money at all, and ended up costing them more than a thousand bucks.
Florida Power & Light Company customers will see an increase in their bill. That’s because the state Public Service Commission on Wednesday approved the new rates to cover rising fuel costs.
