Cold Weather Emergency
As cold weather is expected to move into South Florida late Thursday night, Broward County has declared a Cold Weather Emergency until 7:00 a.m. Friday morning.
The cold air over that descended over South Florida the last two nights has kept farmers in the area busy and residents looking for ways to stay warm.
With temperatures forecast to take a chilly dip over the next couple of days, Broward County is taking action to help the homeless.
With most of South Florida under a Wind Chill Advisory and a Freeze Watch, Broward officials are urging some of the neediest in the county to seek shelter.
