A body found floating in the water near Matheson Hammock’s Marina early Tuesday morning is that of a woman who disappeared off a go fast boat over the weekend.

At Least 3 Missing In Florida Waters, 1 Off Mississippi

Thousands hit the waters for the holiday weekend, but rough surf along Florida’s beaches made it dangerous for swimmers, boaters and rescue crews. Authorities said at least four people went missing in boating and swimming incidents.

Coast Guard Crews Rescue Captain After Falling Off Yacht

Coast Guard crews rescued a captain who reportedly fell off a 95-foot yacht on Wednesday.


The Coast Guard Cutter Tahoma seized approximately 1,100 pounds of cocaine and apprehended three Dominican smugglers following an at-sea interdiction March 18, 2015, off the coast of Guayama, Puerto Rico. The seized contraband was estimated to have a wholesale value of approximately $16 million dollars and was transferred March 24, 2015 to Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agents in Puerto Rico for prosecution. Coast Guard Seizes $16 Million In Cocaine Off Puerto Rico

It was all in a day’s work for the crew of a Coast Guard cutter off Puerto Rico as they rounded up a trio of Dominican drug smugglers and seized $16 million in cocaine.
