Brittney Sierra was much calmer Friday for her court appearance. Sierra is the Hallandale Beach mom accused in connection with the disappearance of her toddler son Dontrell.

Judge Delays Visitation Decision For Mother Of Missing Hallandale Boy

A South Florida mother who is charged with child cruelty in the disappearance of one her children when they lived in Hallandale Beach will have to wait a little longer to find out what will happen to her other two kids.

DCF Case Worker Overlooked Missing Baby

A Department of Children and Families investigator who went to a Hallandale Beach home in September to check on reports of abuse apparently didn’t notice that a 5-month-old baby was missing.

Search For Child’s Bones Behind Hallandale Home

Armed with shovels and a backhoe, Hallandale Beach Police crime scene technicians continued Monday to comb through the dirt behind a home where the partial remains of a body, believed to be Dontrell Melvin, were found on Friday.

Bond Increased For Parents Of Missing Child

The digging at the Hallandale Beach home where tiny human remains were found Friday was completed Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, a Broward County judge increased bond for the parents living at the home.
