Seau Had Degenerative Brain Disease

Junior Seau, one of the NFL’s best and fiercest players for nearly two decades, had a degenerative brain disease when he committed suicide last May, the National Institutes of Health told The Associated Press on Thursday.

Florida’s Oldest Person Dies At 112

Onie Ponder, Florida’s oldest resident and one of the oldest people in the world, has died, her son said Saturday. She was 112. Ponder died Friday morning at an Ocala hospice after a brief bout with pneumonia.
