When tragic events, like the Boston Marathon bombings, appear on the news, it can be hard on adults, but for kids it can be even more confusing. Many parents may want to shield their kids from news of a disastrous event but it’s difficult. Kids will often find out about it from TV, the Internet or friends at school.

Former S. Floridian Hailed A Hero After Boston Blasts

One of the most riveting photographs taken during the Boston Marathon bombings is that of a former South Florida resident helping the injured during the chaos and confusion that resulted from the deadly blasts.

TSA Increasing Alert Status After Blasts In Boston

Local officials are closely monitoring the developments coming out of Boston after at least two explosive devices detonated in the crowd at the finish line of Monday’s Boston Marathon.
