Disney To Make New ‘Star Wars’ Films, Buys Lucas Co.

A decade since George Lucas said “Star Wars” was finished on the big screen, a new trilogy under new ownership is destined for theaters after The Walt Disney Co. announced Tuesday that it would buy Lucasfilm Ltd. from him for $4.05 billion.

Mariah Carey Helps Christen New Disney Ship In NYC

The brand new Disney Fantasy, Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, was christened by singer Mariah Carey at a Hudson River pier in Manhattan Thursday night before it sails for its home part in Florida next week.
