The fate of the Ultra Music Festival in downtown Miami won’t decided Thursday by the Miami commission. An item on the day’s agenda was a resolution to ban Ultra from hosting any more concerts at Bayfront Park. Early Thursday afternoon, however, the resolution was withdrawn. Instead the commission was asked to discuss the future of Ultra in the city during their meeting on April 24th.

A review of the contract between Bayfront Park Trust and Event Entertainment Group, the Miami company that puts on Ultra. shows they may face a $10,000-a-day fine against their $250,000 deposit if all Ultra-related equipment isn’t removed from the park by April 5th.
