Exclusive: Assault Rifle At Center Of Opa-locka Cop’s Proposed Firing

Police Lt. Alexander Hernandez pulled back the chambering lever on the AR-15 assault weapon and it slapped forward with a loud clack, reverberating around the conference room. The menacing-looking weapon was exhibit A at a hearing Wednesday as the Opa-Locka Police Department argued Sgt. German Bosque should be fired for leaving the rifle with his girlfriend’s father while out on leave last year.

BSO Seeks Assault Rifle Carrying Pawn Shop Robbers

Robbery detectives from the Broward Sheriff’s Office are looking for two men who robbed a Pompano Beach pawn shop at gunpoint but not just any gun, an assault rifle which he hid underneath a jacket as he entered the store.
