Miami Students, Church Members Take Part In Trayvon Rally

Dozens of rallies are planned across the state to mark the one month anniversary of the death of 17-year old Trayvon Martin. At the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Miami Gardens, where Martin and his mother were members of the congregation, hundreds gathered early in the morning hours to board buses or cars which would take them to the Sanford rally.

Hoodie Wearing Church Members Demand Justice In Trayvon Shooting

From the Windy City to the Big Apple, members of primarily African-American community churches wore hoodies to services on Sunday as a silent cry for justice in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

2 Workers Rescued After Cherry Picker Catches Fire

Some might call it the miracle at the a local church. But authorities said it was an accident that could have easily claimed two lives. Two men were rescued after being shocked and burned when their “cherry picker” hit power lines.
