Well, to the surprise of absolutely no one not named Brandon Jennings, the Heat opened up a can on the Milwaukee Bucks and they can get better. Plus, the Marlins are historically bad and I mean deep history. The Bucs fleeced the Jets in the Darrelle Revis trade. And some brief commentary on the state of television news in the wake of the Boston bombings.

The New York Knicks beat a short-handed Miami Heat team and it doesn’t mean squat. There was nearly a perfect game pitched last night. The Panthers are on a winning streak?!!? What should the Dolphins do heading into the draft? And why Rutgers has dug themselves a VERY deep hole with no way out.

The Heat are taking flak for sitting LeBron, but that’s not the full story. The Marlins begin their pursuit of the worst record in baseball this afternoon. The Dolphins continue shopping. And the media avoids a broken leg like the plague, but why?

Sports Agenda for Monday (3/4/13)
Lots of hoops action over the weekend with the Miami Heat winning two big games over the Knicks and Grizzlies, which pushed the winning streak to a franchise-record 14 straight. The Hurricanes weren’t so lucky as they lost a squeaker to Duke. Meanwhile, the Panthers continued to do their best impersonation of the Miami Marlins with more losses stacking up.

Sports Agenda for Monday (2/25/2013)
Well, Miami’s basketball team did a great impression of the football team this weekend, choking at the top. Speaking of choking, the Heat almost choked against the woeful Cavaliers. The Panthers continue to stink. And Dear Jeffrey Loria, for lack of better way of putting, you still suck.

UM received its notice of allegations last night from the NCAA and it’s not going to be pretty over the next few months. The Canes basketball team survived a major upset. Florida found out how tough it is to win in CoMo. And the Heat return to action tonight.
