CBSMiami.com Weather @ Your Desk 5-17-17 1PM
Warm, breezy and steamy start with upper 70s and low 80s. We’ve already had a few showers across parts of South Florida. We’ll continue to see the chance for scattered showers and a few storms moving in on the breeze today as High Pressure is in control. East winds: 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. The strong onshore breeze will lead to a dangerous high risk of rip currents through tomorrow evening. Small craft should exercise caution due to choppy bays, 4 to 6 foot seas and gusty winds. Highs climb to the upper 80s this afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds. Tonight will be warm and muggy with upper 70s and low 80s with the potential for passing showers overnight.
