Lisa Cilli

Lisa Cilli joined the CBS4 News team in June 1995 as producer of the Noon Newscast. It’s a position she held for ten years and during that time, the broadcast was the #1 ranked Noon newscast in South Florida.

The summer of 2005 brought the winds of change and a record number of hurricanes to go along with it. After producing for endless hours through the most active Atlantic hurricane season in recorded history, Lisa was ready for a change. It came when CBS Television Station’s “Always On” digital media initiative re-launched new websites for the majority of its CBS stations, including Miami. The nationwide project needed new web producers to make this ambitious project work. That’s when Lisa crossed over from line producing the #1 rated Noon newscast to web producing for the newly launched CBS4.COM, now known as CBSMIAMI.COM. After a year and a half, Lisa was promoted to Senior Web Editor.

In April 2013, Lisa was promoted to Director of Digital Media.

Prior to joining the CBS4 News team, Lisa worked at WTVJ for five years as a News Producer. Lisa was part of the WTVJ-TV team that won the Alfred I. DuPont, Edward R. Murrow and George Foster Peabody awards for coverage of Hurricane Andrew in 1992.

Lisa is a true Miami native; born and raised in the heart of Kendall. She attended Miami Killian Senior High before she headed north to the Gator Nation. At the University of Florida, Lisa received her B.S. degree in Telecommunications from the College of Journalism and Communications in 1989.

Lisa is married and has two children.
