K.C. Jones

Considered by many as one of the greatest offensive lineman to ever play at “The U”, Jones was a 4-year starter at center from 1993-96.  He earned All-Big East honors 3 years in a row.

His senior season he was named a First Team All-American from the AP and was semifinalist for both the Outland and Lombardi Trophies.

The Canes teams he was on went 36-11 and either won or shared 3 Big East Championships.

After his playing days in Coral Gables, he went on to play 5 seasons for the Denver Broncos of the NFL and was a part of their Championship Teams that won  Super Bowl XXXIII and XXXIV.

Jones was inducted into the University of Miami Sports Hall-of-Fame in 2008 and currently serves as its President.
