Channing Crowder

Channing CrowderFormer Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder joins Marc Hochman and Zach Krantz weekday afternoons from 2-6 on WQAM’s Hochman, Crowder and Kranz.

Crowder played his college football at the University of Florida, earning First-Team All-American Honors in 2004 and First-Team SEC Honors in 2003 and 2004.

After 2 seasons in Gainsville, Crowder declared himself for the NFL Draft. The Dolphins selected him in in the 3rd round with the 70th overall pick. He went on to play 6 seasons for the Phins, starting 74 games before retiring in 2011.

Known as one of the league’s better “trash-talkers”, Crowder quickly made the transition to doing radio and TV work following his career.
