Guide To The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition

The Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition is ranked the largest in the state of Florida and will be celebrating its 60th year when it kicks off its 18-day run on Thursday March 17th. Each year the fair attracts nearly 800,000 visitors, making it one of the largest and most successful county fairs in the entire country. The midway features 100 thrilling rides, 170 food booths, 50 games, 50,000 student and adult exhibits and competitions. There are also 130 merchandise shops.

Amenities

Plenty of free parking, over 160,000 sq. ft of air conditioned exhibit/shopping pavilions, paved walkways, convenient sitting areas, diaper changing facilities/restrooms, Lost & Found, stroller and wheelchair rental, and bilingual guest relations service.

Admission and Hours

ADMISSION AND HOURS OF OPERATION:
General admission is $10 for adults and children, free for children five years of age and younger but admission is $5 on Opening Day.

It opens at noon opening day March 17th, March 18th and weekends. It opens at 3:00 p.m. on all other weekdays.

  • Miami-Dade County public school teachers & employees $5 per person up to 4 people with specially marked payroll stub or direct deposit statement.
  • Miami-Dade County private school teachers & employees $5 per person up to 4 people with Fair-issued voucher.
  • Miami-Dade College faculty $5 per person up to 4 people with Miami-Dade College ID.
  • Jackson Memorial Hospital employees, $5 per person up to 4 people with UM/JMH/VA or Public Health Trust I.D.
  • Florida Department of Children & Families $5 per person up to 4 people, with FDCF ID.
