Does miami dade unicorprated have an ordiance with radios. I have a neighbor who is always turning their radio up so loud that my windows shake the tv in up too high and the radio is still heard. If asked to turn it down it goes up. I was told that the supreme court overturned all laws consering the radio and music but can’t find that anywhere. Please if there is an ordiance I need to print it out and hand to the police. Thank-you

my new neighbor now operates a 4-wheel vehicle, which when reved makes an extremely loud noise, he sometimes uses it on the street, and this sometimes is at early hours of the morning. I live in an unincorporated area of the Redlands, south of 248th st. Can I call in a disturbance after 11:00 pm to the local police ?

  5. Miami Dade does have a noise ordinance. It requires motors to have a muffler, and prohibits landscaping between 8 PM and 7 AM. “The following acts, among others, are declared to be unreasonably loud, excessive, unnecessary or unusual noises in violation of this section…namely: Exhausts. The discharge into the open air of the exhaust of any steam engine, stationary internal combustion engine, or motor vehicle except through a muffler or other device which will effectively prevent unreasonably loud or explosive noises therefrom.” — “Power tools and landscaping equipment. The operation of noise-producing lawn mowers, lawn edgers, weed trimmers, blowers, chippers, chain saws, power tools and other noise-producing tools which are used to maintain or at a residence out-of-doors between 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

You can make a NON-EMERGENCY call to Miami-Dade police. Understand this covers only unincorporated Miami-Dade; cities and villages may bhave their own ordinances.
