We are a group of knitters in SW Miami who have many warm hats, scarves & socks that we would like to donate to the relief effort in Japan. Does anyone know of a drop-off point or have an address where we could send these items? Thanks!

hey do any of you guys take orders on specific knits. Im expecting a baby girl in December and i would love some specific hats knitted that I’ve seen for her newborn photography.

Thanks for the effort. Unfortunately, I don’t believe there will be a lot of ‘goods’ sent from the US to Japan. Most relief agencies are seeking money to they can buy what’s needed in the neighborhood, and avoid the cost and logistics of shipping. One possibility is to hook up with a similar organization Japan, and ship the items to then so they can work with local relief agencies. Anyone else have suggestions?
