Al, please help restore the integrity at this condominium complex that is having cars towed with no visible signage anywhere about towing policies.

I visited this complex late yesterday evening to bring my elderly relative some medicine. I am visiting this city and was borrowing a car to get there. I was there for about 3 minutes before there was a warning sticker placed on my window. When I came outside about an hour later, my car was gone, it had been towed. NOWHERE in this complex was there a sign about parking, and/or towing. Apparently there is NO assigned parking, but after midnight, you will get a warning if you are parked and don’t have a “parking permit/decal” and after 1am, they will tow you. As I mentioned NOWHERE in the complex is this stated, and the manager of the homeowners association plainly told me that it’s the tenants responsibility to let their guests know about the policies. I did my due diligence in looking around for parking signs and saw none, so I parked in an unmarked spot. My elderly aunt, was too sick to think much less remember to tell me about parking guidelines in her complex. And just like that i was left with no car, and no way to get on my way to get the owner of the cars license to go and claim the car. This was at 3am. I had to pay for the towing fees, and the manager of the association says they are free of responsibility of telling the guests about the policies because the tenants are the ones responsible for doing so. I think this is a serious injustice, completely unethical, and unprofessional behavior from such said “business”.
