if a company application clearly states background check for last 7 years and the send a denial letter for employment because they found a charge 16 years back can i file a EEOC charge against the company?
Discrimination: company states on application have you been committed of a crime in the last 7 years and applicant answers no but company searches back 16 years, then withdraws job offer


I think the company has falsely represented the application with that kind of question and researches further back than stated
