I am a Miami Resident, who went to the polls with patience, why in the world would people wait til Election Day to request or return an Absentee Ballot when the deadline was broadcast weeks before. Why would a voter complain about waiting in line or get to the voting machine and rush the machine, then it jams they say oh the machines aren't working and be rude to the Staff. I tell this to the Mayor, Supervisor of Elections and Staff, you did a good job dispite the greivances voters had/have against the Elections Department. We leave home uneducated about the issues on the ballot, regardless of the numerous correspondence handed out to help educate the voter prior to coming to the polls. GET OVER YOURSELVES PEOPLE, WE COMPLAIN AND POINT FINGERS AT EVERYONE ELSE BUT OURSELVES. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET AN ABSENTEE BALLOT ON SUNDAY, MONDAY OR TUESDAY.
NO ONE SHOULD BE BLAMING ELECTIONS DEPARTMENT FOR ANYTHING. EVERYONE DID THEIR JOB WELL.
