After Andrew, we used a bucket of water from a neighbor’s pool to make the toilet flush by pouring the water into the center of the toilet bowl. I guess the pressure does something to make the toilet flush. Do not use the water, even to brush your teeth, or you can get gastroenteritis (stomach pains) from the bacteria. Drink and use only bottled water or water treated with 8 drops of chlorine (Clorox) per gallon of water.
