You said in previous answer that Miami Dade has a noise ordinance and prohibits certain noises between 8 PM and 7 AM. What about landscaping and leaf-blowers used during the weekend? Namely Sunday evening? IS there any help with that? Someone I can complain to?
Noisy landscapers on the weekend
there is an ordinance (28-1 or something close to that)…i had the exact same problem with a mall near my old house.. the cleaning crew would start the leaf blowers at 2am and it was hellaciously loud…. i had to call many many people in local government.. i was met with resistance from everyone (Team Metro and Nuisance Abatement) because they didn’t know how to enforce the ordinance.. The mall said the y had a permit to clean…. well, use a broom and not a leaf blower!!!! almost a year later, a judge ruled that the noise had to stop but by that time I had a contract on the house.. yes, i had to sell the house because noone would enforce the ordinance.. good luck
