If you are hit by a car while riding a bicycle and have no insurance no matter how badly you are injured they will release you and not provide rehab necessary. Is this right??

If the driver of the car is at fault thier insurance should pay your medical expenses which should include rehabilitation. If it is the bicyclist fault they would have to pay for thier treatment as well as for damage to the car and/or the driver of the car.

  3. If you ask a stupid question like this are mental hospitals required to treat you?

  4. Not exactly true Anonymous. The ER is required by law to stabilize your emergency, if you present a broken limb or punctured lung from an accident as hypothesized by the poster. However, any rehab or physical therapy is outside the scope of “emergency services” and will not be provided if you don’t have the means to pay.

Not true, anybody that presents at an ER will be treated, regardless of ability to pay for the service.
