The Florida Primary is open only to registered voters who were members of the Republican party 30 days before the date of the election. There is no primary for Democrat voters, as there is no opposition within the party to President Obama. Unlike some elections which allow all voters, regardless of party, to vote in this situation, such an “Open Primary” is not allowed in the Presidential primary.
