Each butterfly commemorates survivors on their journey to breast health

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Baptist Health Breast Center invites you to recognize local survivors throughout South Florida by sending them messages of hope on our virtual Butterfly Wall.

Encourage someone you know on the journey to breast health with an inspirational message of love and support.

A handful of the survivors acknowledged below will be featured by name on CBS4 in on-air messages of hope from Baptist Health Breast Center during the month of October.

Then, join Baptist Health Breast Center at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on October 20th in Bayfront Park to celebrate survivors and raise money to fund the fight against breast cancer.

butterfly Breast Cancer Awareness MonthDR. KRONACHER AND DR. GRACE WANG
Thanks to the extraordinarily well-trained eye of radiologist Dr. Kronacher, and the expert monitoring of Dr. Grace Wang I am a 12 year survivor. Now I applaud the courage and patience as well as the joy for life of my cousin Janette, who fights bravely her second round of chemotherapy treatments. She and her caretaker husband are my new heroes.

I don’t how why this is happening to many of us. I know that the hardness of my breast was a 10 cm cancerous tumor. I don’t know why I have many friends with metastatic breast cancer, I know that I have scars all over my body which remind me that the race is not over, and I want you to know that my race is for you and me. Love you sister.
