MIAMI (CBSMiami) — Apple is out with a fix for a crucial computer chip bug.

The company says it has released an update on its operating system software, which will repair the Spectre bug.

It’s a microchip flaw that affects almost all chips made in the past 10 years.

Last week, security researchers sounded the alarm on two big chip flaws that could make computing devices vulnerable to hackers.
