MIAMI (CBSMIami) – An American Air flight from San Antonio to Miami couldn’t have landed any sooner for some of its crew.

During the direct flight, several crew members complained of feeling sick. When flight 1625 touched down at Miami International and taxied to gate D321, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue was waiting.

Two were treated by fire rescue personnel.

American Airlines issued the following statement on the matter:

“Prior to landing at Miami International Airport (MIA), three crewmembers reported a possible odor in the cabin of American Airlines flight 1625. The aircraft, an Airbus A319 with 98 passengers and a crew of five from San Antonio, landed safely and taxied to the gate. Two crew members asked to be transported to a local hospital.

“The aircraft is currently being evaluated by our maintenance team.”
