Boy Injured In Overnight Shooting In Palm Beach

PALM BEACH (CBSMiami) - A 12-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital overnight after he was shot in his apartment.

The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office said someone fired shots into four apartments on Breckenridge Place just after 2 a.m.

The boy, who was sleeping in one of them, was hit. He was taken to the hospital with what was described as a non-life threatening injury.

No word on what prompted the shooting.
